Health in Mind are delighted to support the Barnardo’s Barney Bear campaign!
Barnardo’s NI are appealing for enthusiastic knitters to help create a range of unique jumpers for their Barney Bear.
The Barney’s and their individually created jumpers, with each knitter’s name attached, will be raffled later in the year to raise funds for Barnardo’s vital work with less–advantaged and vulnerable children across Northern Ireland.
Barnardo’s will supply the knitting pattern, which was specially developed for Barney by the knitters at Ballyhackamore Library Knit and Natter group, all you have to do is supply the wool, your time and creativity – kites, spots, stars and stripes – let your imagination take flight!
Once your jumper is created please bring it to your local library before Saturday 31 May and don’t forget to include your first name and where you are from!
